Krystof Kage - Krystof is now considered a local theatre veteran after having appeared in nearly twenty shows and directing quite a few since moving to Tallahassee in 1999. While his most recent activity has been in the director's chair (Big River at TheatreTCC!), he is super-glad to also get back on stage. His most recent acting credits include The Scarlet Pimpernel and What the Butler Saw, in addition to the Artist's Workshop productions of The Eight Reindeer Monologues (which he also directed) and Murder, Stage Right. Lots of love to Rae Rae and cheers to his wonderful friends and followers - may what I do here tonight be a lesson to you all on what it is like being the oldest guy on stage.
Jimmy Kontos - Jimmy is the Executive Director of the Artist’s workshop as well as the Program Director for the Tallahassee Little Theatre. Jimmy was most recently seen onstage as Nathan Detroit in TLT’s Guys & Dolls. He is a Tallahassee native, an FSU grad, and has been involved in nearly 70 local productions. Jimmy has recently directed O’Jerusalem, What the Butler Saw, Lend Me A Tenor, and The Graduate at TLT. As well as Murder Stage Right for the Artisit’s Workshop. As an actor, teacher, and director Jimmy has studies and worked in New York, Seattle, Chicago, and London. He has been a theatre instructor for over twelve years and currently teaches local high schoolers and adults.
Elizabeth Torres - A Puerto Rico native, Elizabeth is thrilled to be a board member of The Artist's Workshop. Elizabeth has been seen numerous times performing around Tallahassee, as some of her most recent credits are: Maria Merelli in Lend me a Tenor (TLT), Sheila in A Chorusline (Theatre TCC!), Chiffon in Little Shop of Horrors (Theatre TCC!), Tituba in The Crucible (Theatre TCC!) and The Chesire Cat in Alice in Wonderland (Theatre TCC!). Elizabeth was most recently seen in TLT's coffeehouse performing Jane Wagner's one woman show, Search for Signs of Intelligent Life in the Universe. She has also competed with and currently serves as an adviser for the National Championship winning Speech and Debate Team for Tallahassee Community College where she has won Gold Medals in events like Dramatic Interpretation, Poetry Interpretation, and Duo performance. Elizabeth also starred in the College Emmy placing short film by FSU film school, "Tough Crowd". Elizabeth plans to continue to pursue theater and will be moving to New York in early spring.
Rachael Adams – Rachael has lived in Tallahassee since 1993 and has been a regular performer for the last 12 years, appearing frequently on the stages of Tallahassee Little Theatre, The TLT Coffeehouse, Theatre A La Carte, Theatre TCC and Quincy Music Theatre. She is also a board member for The Artist's Workshop. Some of her favorite roles include 1776 (Abigail Adams), Company (Amy), Into the Woods Cinderella), Side Show (Violet), Sunday in the Park with George (Dot/Marie), Falsettos (Trina), What the Butler Saw (Mrs. Prentice), The Crucible (Elizabeth Proctor), Tommy (Mrs. Walker) and A Little Night Music (Charlotte). She has also served as stage manager for Assassins, Peter Pan, Scrooge, Santaland Diaries, The Eight: Reindeer Monologues, and The Graduate. She has a degree in vocal music from the Florida State College of Music.
